Any Neerup love? I’ve been really intrigued by their pipes for a long time, but a lot of them are a bit bulbous and garish for my taste. Well, for some reason I got infatuated with them recently and decided I just had to have one. I scoured the web hard for a couple days and ended up getting an Ida, which I’ll post when it arrives. Hopefully it arrives. The entire ordering process was in German and I was trying to use Google translate to bridge the gap. Anyway, seriously beautiful pipe in my opinion (of course). It’ll be my first Danish pipe, but if it smokes well, I don’t think it will be my last.

Let’s see yours!

Id have more of his pipes if the chambers were not so large on many of them. Ive been selling some of mine since I went the other direction in size. All I have owned were really good pipes.

I wish they were larger. Some of the smallest chambers in the Danish arena. They're very attractive but my Falcons have much larger chambers than the majority of his work.

Neerup/Peder is my favourite pipe maker, I don’t think he can be touched at the prices he offers. If you want a smaller one, read the weights, the pics reveal nothing, you want 55-60 grams around like the black sandblast there, perfect size still a deep 2” bowl. Smokingpipes screwed me over and made a mistake on the only contrast rusticated rim one there, cherry red metal black stem, listed at 62 grams, but was actually 72 when I got it home, or else I never would have bought it. Still a nice pipe though, but too big/heavy.IMG_0033.jpegIMG_0034.jpeg
