I kid, it is unsmoked because I have no reason to try. I don't think my Czech tool will even fit in the chamber.
But on a serious note, I love my George Yale Lovat I got in a twenty dollar estate lot on Ebay. This was worth the whole lot in my opinion. It's light enough to clench with ease during car rides, will take a single flake or bowl full of cube cut. Smokes cool when paced and perfect for whenever I want that shorter smoke.

Thanks Anthony. Story behind that gnome is when I met my wife and moved into the house her ex bought, everything was “hers” and I wanted something of “ours”. She said buy what you like and that was it! She eventually redecorated the walls as well, and we sold that house and bought a nicer one! The gnome stays and greets everyone, and resides with my pipes. Hobby Lobby is where we found it 7 years ago.

I'm loving this thread. Many of these pipes, though tiny, are still quite lovely.
Edit to add: Mau, I'm absolutely loving that little Nording.

I've never seen a Nording nose warmer like that. Needs a refresh. I haven't smoked it yet! Odd thing is the bit of charring where the shank meets the stem on one side.

Check out Ewa French pipes at Iwan Ries, and also Belgique Petersons smooth and rusticated at most online retailers. Flake, plug, coin, and rope will give you a full-length smoke in a small pipe. A few good small pipes and a few extra large have excellent uses --small ones for sampling, short smokes, etc. If you have more than a dozen pipes, you'll do well to add these.

I'm a bit of a fan of that little Castello too. And another favorite of mine is the little blasted Kaywoodie that Dave posted. Some fun little pipes posted in this thread.

Tuold- Great photo. That passage in the Mozart score is one of my favorites....
OK, total BS. I love Mozart but can't read more than one line of notes at a time.
