A new Kaywoodie Thorn, Hand Made #4209 purchased from Bill Furbaugh at the 2008 Chicago Pipe Show. It reminds me of a 99b shape. Excellent va puffer.

Whatever happen to Smokey Bear, the originator of this thread? I think the current crop of Kaywoodie are especially good. You can actually find a selection online now and then. They discontinued the Drinkless line; I'd just bought one in 2013 when this thread started, and it's a good pipe, but discontinuing the stinger screw-stems showed a willingness to move with the times and update the line. I recently bought a Kaywoodie Saxon billiard, a light weight pipe with handsome lines and thin bowl walls that don't heat up. I'm impressed.

That’s what I like about the new KW’s, you don’t have to spend much to get a good smoker.

Here’s the measurements of the hand made pictured above:

5.75” L
1.875” tall
2” wide
.75” bore diameter
1.5” bore depth
