Picked up my first estate pipe at the NASPC show

That is one intersting looking pipe newsense, and is the stem as thick as it looks?

Yeah, it tapers down about an inch past the shank and is about an inch wide at the lip, haven't smoked it yet though, debating on what to pack it with.
