@organizedmadman. Thank you very much. As you will know from my various posts I have been smoking and buying this style since the 1980s. Back in those days before the age of Oi Vay you would see the very ornate figurine meerschaum pipes at antique markets for crazy money whilst the plain 'cuty' styles could be purchased for a few pounds. I have been averaging about two pipes a month since that date. I just picked up a couple more this week which I will post pictures for the forum to enjoy. The biggest 'bug bear' I have to endure is getting repairs done to the cases which no one seems to undertake these days.

Torque, you were willing to spend more than I was.
LOL, I was wondering if that was you that I ended up bidding against. Considering we both favor this particular brand, I suspect we will be brushing up against each other on a few more.
That WDC is an early 20th Century pipe.
That's what I was thinking, probably teens or slightly earlier but pure conjecture on my part.
