Shoe Buffer - Advice

I got an old dremel shoe buffer - I recently replaced the pads a few years ago and only used it twice since
the thing is I used a leather conditioner(Coach brand for high end purses)
Do y'all suspect i need to change the pads again in order to use this for pipes? I'm assuming there's minute residue from the shoe and leather conditioner on the pads but probably nothing to ruin my pipes
I don't see any harm coming from this as long as I use some waxs/rouge/polish for the pipe

hmm I don't know - possibly - i'd assume if they are synthetic they can right - but I think they are lambs wool - you

The residue from the leather conditioner ought to be pretty dry. Maybe run the buffer against a big rag, and then try it on a lesser pipe. It is likely not a problem.

The wheel I take excess wax off with I clean with a scrap piece of wood and I'm sure it would take that conditioner residue off also.
