Wow, really. Your mention of the loss of your LP's is so very familiar.

Mid 70's, dredgy end of a day full of mind altering, experiences, and I wander in to the back room where my stereo was setup.

Good buddy Mike, Big Mike cuz he was a monster, was sitting cross legged on the floor stacking all of my albums one atop the next. Of course in order to keep them stacked he'd struck upon the novel idea of drizzling candle wax on each record before placing the next one, and the next one...
I just walked away.

Grab "Live at Pompeii", it has some fantastic versions of songs they rarely, if ever played in the later years (Echoes). I listened to it in the car last night driving home to MD from NY, great solitary car music.
