Since the link comes from a sponsor, I hope this link to this short video of the Ser Jacopo works won't break any rules. Al Pascia is a favorite provider of what my ex-girlfriend called pipe porn.
BTW, they have a Jacunda, an oil cured sandblast, up under new arrivals. If it wasn't a Dublin, I would have already purchased it. I have had a few of these over the years, excellent smokers, fairly hard to come by, usually classic shapes, which I like.

Agh, I love Ser Jacopo. That bent Insanus! The Picta Magritte #8! They're exceptional pipes. Thanks for sharing!

@wyfbane, as an old Charatan's collector, there was a time when most of my high grade pipes were Dublin's or some variation thereof. Kind of got tired of the shape. The price does seem decent, though. One of the reputable on line sellers has a Maxima billiard coral dot listed for $175, which looks very much like a pipe I used to own. I have heard that Radice no longer offers oil cured pipes, so as far as I know Ser Jacopo is the only Italian maker that still uses this technique for a few pipes.
I have been known to weaken, though. :)

Thanks for posting that!
I noticed their wheels are a touch larger than most of us have in our home workshops....

@hagley, have you heard of hyperlinks? Kind of a new thing for us old geezers, I know. Click on the text where it was "this short video.". :)

Well, I pulled the trigger on the Ser Jacopo from Al Pascia. Whoever handles the Pipe Magazine sponsor relations, make sure and collect your commission. :)
