Any experience with this author pipe?

Suggestions for the first kind of tobacco to smoke?

I was thinking Red Rapparee.

Thanks

I've a few 320, but they're the KS not the EX. The KS is a large pipe in it's own right, but the Ex is quite a bit larger. Basically, my opinion is that the 320 with it's wide chamber smokes complex blends, such as Balkan/English blends extremely well. More surface area, more tobacco burning, better flavor. There are some who agree with me, and some who don't. And that's fine. I've never smoked Red Rapparee (why have I not smoked Red Rapparee???), but it's the right sort of blend for it, I think. Try it and find out. I think you'll be quite pleased with the results.
