The Savinelli Primo Fumo line up is a way to go,($50) although these pipes are for selling only in europe and hardly anywhere else but in Italy. I just got myself one and couldn't help asking If I was buying much more expensive pipe,smokes like a dream at firts bowl and no obvious flaws are present.These come with velure pouch and are do use 6mm balsa filters
I only know one retailer who does carry these pipes and ships internationally:Tabaccheria Guzzi S.A Roma
