How come Savinelli changed the shape of their 6mm balsa filters from the 'squarish' shape to the trianglular shape. Not nearly as effective as the previous models.
Seems to me that there's a bit of penny pinching, and false economy going on, IMO.
Sorry about the heading not in Bold. I can't get it to change.

Never seen a square one.The 9mms have this multi surface area thing going on.Don't like them any way, they become saturated too soon.

the 6mm have always been a triangle. Maybe you got a knock off from eBay?

MM sells 6 mm, non-triangular balsa filters:


They used to be called Aldo Veliani, but it seems the name is different now. Should be the same thing. That's what I use on my cobs and my MacQueen 'warden.

I, of course, was wrong. They are the Aldo Velani's I was chasing not the Savilnellis.
