I’d be very interested to hear what folks know about the Sasieni line that doesn’t just have four (blue) dots, but also says “4 Dot.” I found surprisingly little about that particular line on Pipedia. Anyone know the dates between which they were made? Were they seconds? Just wondering. It’s one of mine that I know the least about. Thanks in advance for any help!

“4” (as distinct from “four”) Dots are post-transition era Sasienis.
They are less collectible. But does NOT necessarily equate to less smokeable.

I have corporate era Barlings which smoke every bit as good as my family era ones
Thanks so much. Exactly the info I was looking for!

I agree with OzPiper. They don't get the interest from collectors, but are usually fetch lower prices and their blue dots are really beautiful. Many e-bay sellers don't understand the distinction between Four Dot and 4 Dot and list them incorrectly.
Perfect - just the info I was looking for! This is a great community.
