Santa's Pipe Candle



A blend of tobacco and cherries that will take you back in time, to when everyone sat around the fire while grandpa smoked his pipe and told stories.

Now I find this? Well maybe for next years Secret Santa.

I guess because it's a scented candle it makes it Socially acceptable to burn as opposed to the real thing?

To be fair, I know a lot of people who do not smoke but enjoy the smell of tobacco/cigars and some even cigarettes so yeah I get it.

I saw this on the Hobby Lobby website and was wondering if they carry it in-store. Reviews say they changed the formula and it doesn't smell as good as it used too.

My wife bought it a Hobby Lobby. It smells okay, not like the description old books and cherry pipes. When I burn it, I only burn it for a few minutes...too strong otherwise.

Just picked up 2 from my local Hobby Lobby. One to burn and one to keep for decor in my smoke room.
I am going to fire it up later today when I get home from work and I'll report back on how it smells.

Those candles are neat. I think I will go to Hobby Lobby today and get some.

I just lit mine and have set next to me as I type. I can't walk away from it because the cat is fascinated with the flame. I don't enjoy the smell of burning hair.

I can't pinpoint the scent, not like the online description of old books and cherry. Old books usually smell musty. I'm interested in what others think of the scent.

I've seen "tobacco" scented candles quite a bit, actually. Not quite sure what tobacco they're supposed to smell like, but I like em.

There's a soap maker at one of the farmers markets I do who makes a Tobacco and Rum soap. It smells like neither, but good all the same. It's one of her best sellers, and while she made it to appeal to guys, she now sells it mostly to women.

So the candle has been burning for about 45 minutes....I cannot say it smells of cherry pipe tobacco and old books...I can't quite figure out what it smells like but there is definitely hints of patchouli.

Same here, can't figure it out. Definitely not old books and cherry tobacco. It's okay. I wouldn't replace it with the same.

It's not offensive to me and I find it quite pleasant but I would never buy another to burn.

My Pappy's Pipe made by Milkhouse Candle Company arrived yesterday. This candle has a very pleasant scent. I like that it's made in the USA (Iowa). Who knows? Maybe @BROBS makes these candles.
