Smoked this for my second time today and I had one of those fantastic moments sipping and chewing fantastic smoke for over an hour outside with no wind at all. I like full and meaty perique or latakia blends, and for me, this is a perfect daytime alternative.

The core of the smoke is creamy and delicate, with a mostly Virginia background. I was happy to not sense a lot of Burley tones. Quite meaty in a soft way, like a softer and creamier version of S:t James Flake (which is another favourite from SG). Couldn't sense any misplaced aromas. I can have some problems with sour tones like citrus and such, and thankfully I didn't feel any of that.

I'm sure I will buy more of this in the not too distant future!

I agree it’s a fantastic blend. I have been slowly going through 250g I jarred in 2012. If I smoke it too much it loses a little bit of that magic, but if I smoke it sparingly, every bowl is a treat. Spot on with your comparison to St. James Flake.
