Samuel Gawith 2013 Limited

I recently opened a tin of Gawith's Limited Edition 2013. My review is as follows.

The tobacco was bone dry. After rehydrating, I found the blend to be nothing special.

Now I like my aromatics, and this tobacco had a mild room note that was not unpleasant but was not to my liking.
The tobacco had a mild taste and was again, nothing special.

My review, like this tobacco, is limited.

I was amazed that when opening the tin, the tobacco was not sealed. What was the thinking behind not sealing the bag?

All, I am cleaning out my cellar and doing inventory. I came across a few old tins of Gawith Limited....... now this tin was sealed shut, but when I opened the tin it was totally dried out. Anyone else have the same experience with this blend? I spent solid cash on this blend and was hoping it...

I also replied there, it’s also well known that these style of tins are not vacuum sealed.

Any tins you buy in the future, check to make sure they are vacuum sealed.
