Salt and Alcohol Treatment in a Peterson System

For any of you who have cleaned up an old estate Peterson System pipe, do you do anything differently to try to clean the chamber or just hope that filling the shank and bowl will do the trick. Thanks in advance, TB

I never had a system pipe, but it sounds like a job for Q-tips™ soaked in a solvent of some kind.

I've done salt/alcohol in the reservoir and the bowl and alcohol, worked like a champ. Just have to be extra careful not to get the alcohol on the bowl as per usual, but more so since you have more liquid in there.
