Need advice on potential purchase offer for an early Safferling traditional shape in excellent condition. I can’t find any for sale on the used wood market. Is this pipe considered high end? The maker has a good rating for quality pipes.

Type in Bertram Safferling Pipes and there's a fair amount of info. He's considered high end, though I haven't seen his work mentioned in recent years.
The Briary used to have a great relationship with Safferling, and when I first started collecting they had quite a few. But, very soon they were all gone and never restocked. I haven’t run across one for sale in a long time. I love his sense of design. Very unique but functional.
