After I'd had a bowl the other day, I felt myself in need of just a bit more Vitamin N, a supplement if you will. It got me thinking of how I could do that, without resorting to a RYO or a mouth spray or some other method - well, I filled another bowl, but I really wanted something short and quick.
The search was on for my little snuff box, but I seem to have lost it. So, on my next pipe tobacco order, I almost randomly selected some snuffs - I'd usually had Wilson's SP #1, for long train journeys and the like, but it had been a good long while since I'd had that and was open to new things.
Four varieties duly arrived and I dug in to one, then another. I can't say they reduced my pipe usage by much, but they are enjoyable in their own right. I had lost none of the technique, pinches from a tin or hits from a tap box via the "anatomical snuffbox". While one might have lovely scent, another might have Vitamin N in spades... I was starting to go deep.
Sigh. Here we go. Another snuff specific order has gone in, half a dozen varieties and this stuff is cheap as chips, no duty is charged on snuff. Yes, I seem to be sliding into SAD to go with TAD and occasional PAD. There is no hope for me. None.
And I love it!
