While doing recent home remodeling I had to temporarily relocate my wine cellar. While moving it I discovered I had a bottle of 1970 Taylor Fladgate Port leaking in a substantial way. This particular bottle has a different label than my other bottles of it.

Given the level of leakage I surmised the bottle content to be trash and decided to open it and see. I couldn't find an ah-so to open it but since it was most likely trash I used a regular corkscrew and ripped up the cork like I know it would. Poured it through a strainer which help a lot.

Overall it was badly oxidized and lost all of its fruit. It wasn't vinegar yet though and did have a nice caramel-y sweetness. It drank more like a sherry which was weird.
