Jay- I prefer a nice slice of Cheddar cheese melted partially on my slices of [warm] apple pie. Try it! With or without cream.

Up in Yorkshire they have cheese on a sort of fruitcake (called Brack, made with tea). It's a very good combination!

You can make all the false assumption that you like, but cream with apple pie, or apple pie made with cream...that's not right. Apple pie is excellent with ice cream, though.
