Im adding this one to keep my Old Boy company. I got it in today and it took about five minutes to add a pipe nozzel. I like the extra width vs my Old Boy. I love my Old Boy but if I had it my way it would be just a tad wider.

Nice Line1! Great pattern, too. I'm not sure what to call it, I call it the golf-ball pattern.

Thanks, Duponts are so plentiful in France that I saw two at a thrift store a few days ago. Of course they knew the value so they were not bargains. Duponts tend to sell used fir about half the price here vs US. I can buy them all day for 120 or less.

Sadly for now the pipe nozzle is gone. It kept acting funny. I thought the lighter leaked until I put the original back on. Since then it has worked like a charm. Im sick today but when I feel better I will take a micrometer to them both to find the problem. Some ali express purchases are better than others. It seems like the top is too wide on the pipe nozzle so it doesnt go in far enough

I just got this new to me silver/silver hobnail L2 table lighter back from ARS for an overhaul and pipe jet conversion.

How are the jets fitted? Are they threaded or pressed into the lighter? Is there some sort of gasket or O-ring? Thanks

@daveinlax i like that tall lighter, nice. The linge 1 is fine threads. No o ring. It has a camfered edge. Im not sure the asian part is small enough to go through the top layer and grab hold. I haven’t take it apart to study how it goes. I just know it doesnt go in far enough and it leaks. It is completely flawless with the original part. Honestly its not that much easier with the pipe fitting but it is a a little nicer. Time will tell.
