Just saw where Gary Rossington passed away yesterday. As an old time southern rocker, I'm sad to see him go. Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of my all time favorite bands. I was lucky to see them last year when they played a 50th anniversary concert at the Ryman here in Nashville. You could tell he was in poor health. I hope he is in peace. RIP

Damn, they’re all gone.

Be a good day to watch “If I Leave Here Tomorrow” again.
If the news of Gary’s passing means anything to you, and you haven’t seen it, you NEED to watch it (avail on Netflix, or many TV providers).

The big question is will Skynyrd continue to tour.
I'm betting yes.
The original agreement between the original members was that 2 of the group had to be alive to tour as Skynyrd.
They broke that. Gary was the last and they continued.
Ronnie's widow is the one with the veto. And she gets an equal cut of the shows to this day.
They will tour this year, next year and who know how long.
I'm glad.
We saw them last year and the live show is still great.
Gary was not there.
As of now they have shows scheduled all the way out to August.

There is another thread for this subject that had been opened earlier (exactly 1 minute before this one 😀). Closing this one down.
