Been doign a lot of traditional shapes lately, so decided to change it up a bit...This was an interesting variation on a Scarab shape I've done...Came in at around 56 grams- surprisingly light for the size....This one is going to Chicago... (man, it seems like I'm getting in a lot of shop time lately!)

I always like to see what you are up to with your pipe making. Very nice, I am a sucker for bamboo LOL

Thanks guys- I enjoyed this one...
And it sits?
It actually sits on the logo...which is .4"....I had to sort of figure out where it balanced, sand a flat spot, figure where the center of that was, stamp it, sand everything around it back to a curve, mask it, and blast it....I had to consume large amounts of alcohol by the end of that one...:)

Really dig the unique configuration of the bowl, especially in morta, and the bamboo shank and distinctive colors. A tour de force of originality. Ah, those Chicagoans and their pipes.
