As a Christmas gift. Got it with a very nice Pipe for myself at a song. Had a crack in the shank so I shortened it... rim was charred so sanded and restained the whole thing. Reamed/sanded the chamber...Sanded and buffed the stem.

I thought it looked a little weird. Not bad just a little weird or in other words unusual. Pretty though. Kind like that one girl I dated with the weird feet.

Thanks guys. It turned out to be more difficult than I thought... the previous smoker had torched down the shank and actually melted or deformed the tenon end of the stem. This had caused the crack. So I had to cut it down and cut a new mortise / shave the tenon area (not really a tenon it’s an army mount). Seems to fit properly now though!
