I’ve been into pipes & tobacco over 20 years. Was very active up till 6 years ago; health & doctors got my attention. I’ll be honest. I barely touch my pipes any more and have lots of tins & jars to pass along. My cellar stash primarily centered around VA/Perique blends, McClelland red/orange VAs, and Lakeland flakes. I just toasted my last flake of Butera Golden Cake from an ancient 6-‘97 tin. If I recall correctly, that was the first tin I ever bought, and got it from McCranie’s late that year. That tin started off quite biting with lots of high notes, but finished 20 years later as mellow as a bloodhound on the porch.

If it weren’t for dogs there’d be no puppies.

Welcome from Houston! I used to pass trough San Antonio pretty frequently on my way to Pipe Creek of all places. No pun, that's really the name of the town.
