Repairing a Peterson Baskerville

This 1999 Peterson SH Baskerville had been overly reamed with a round radius reamer, had wavy chamber walls, and the draft hole was about 1/2” up the side of the chamber.

I filled it in and raised the floor of the chamber up, sanded the inside contour of the bowl, and redrilled the airway.

This will smoke all the way to bottom now…

A mix of 3F pumice, powdered activated charcoal and waterglass. dries smokable in 36 hours, solid and durable.

There are some contradictory reports on waterglass being poisonous.
What is the truth ? I feel reluctant and so far only "concocted" organic bowl coatings.
