I've recently delved into a partial bag of Gawith Hoggarth & Co's American Sweet Peach that I took in trade last year.

The description is as follows:

"A blend of red burleys with cavendished Virginia. The casing process, where the blend is dipped or sprayed, imparts the lasting background flavour while the individual aroma comes from top dressing."

I think this is the first I've heard of red burley.

If anyone has any greater knowledge or experience of red burly, please share it here.

Thanks.

I can’t answer your question- I just wanted to say that the blend you’ve acquired sounds delightful being a lover of peach, artificial peach and burley. It must smell amazing with the cavendish…I wish this blend was available where I live.
