Hi!

I don't enjoy drying my tobacco, and I don't like flakes. I would appreciate recommendations on a tobacco that is mild in nicotine and is ready to smoke from the tin or pouch.

Some of my favorite blends in terms of flavor:
Skiff Mixture
Commonwealth
Sir Walter Raleigh

I don't mind a slightly aromatic addition, but I primarily enjoy tobacco forward flavor. Love lats and orientals.

Thanks!

G.L. Pease blends don’t use any PG, just a side note there, so if you were inclined to dry a little, since these are PG free, they dry fast.

I’ve certainly not smoked all of the GLP blends, but Telegraph Hill is a nice one, not much moisture you could smoke straight from the tin, as I’m sure there are a lot of his blends, ready from the tin.

You can smoke any tobacco straight from the tin—just not advisable.

I just open a dozen or so tins over time, and after the first or second bowl it is dry enough for the remainder. If it starts to get too dry, I have a waterproof tub that I throw it in with a moisture pack and all the other tins I don't smoke often enough.

This is a peculiar request, i.e. a moisture - ready tobacco. Most blends come moist in the tin or pouch.

Do you have a source for that?

I would be very surprised if this were really the case.
^^see what I did there

I've found all the Peterson blends I've tried have been perfect upon opening.
Robert Lewis blends (2 tried) were good moisture from beginning.
GH & Co Dark Birds Eye and Kendal Dark come perfect for firing up...

Any chance we could see a picture of this set-up? Is it a boveda (moisture) pack? Do you take the lids off?
