I got a vintage radio recently from someone who said it was left in a closet by the previous owner. Funny how good stuff gets left behind.

Given my history, this would be like finding a pre war Martin D-45 left behind the bed room door.
from my experience with guitar gear that will happen to that kid with the great guitar and amazing amp who after ten years of playing is still trying to master not botching Nirvana or Black Sabbath. Or a similar skill level.

The simplest for you would be to sell or consign them with a dealer. Pipestud is a good choice, so is Marty Pulvers at Pulvers Prior Briar, Mike at Briar Blues, or maybe check with Blue Room Briars. If you want to do the work, you can photograph them and list them on eBay. That way you keep most of what you make, but it's a lot more work.

Nice find! There is demand for these pipes, especially in their unsmoked state.

However, in my opinion the demand would not be quite the same as for unused Briar pipes from the same period. These pipes were not made by Master Carvers. Still there is some brand recognition that goes with them so there's that.

As far as price, I'd be a player at around $65, but that's me. I'm not a big Meerschaum enthusiast. Realistically, based on what else is currently available on the market at current price points, I'd give an edge to these which are of better quality than the low end stuff being imported now.

I hadn't noticed a name on them. If there was one there it would increase the value. Ismet Beckler did a lot of carving for CAO around that time.

If the object is to turn these, then contact one of the vendors here. You found these in an attic, so it's pure profit.

Hello Pipesmagazine community,
My name is Sam and it's safe to say I'm new to the pipe community. This thread might be a little unusual due to the fact that I don't smoke but came into contact with 39 vintage pipes in the attic of my house that were left from the previous owners. I have no idea how to identify the pipes and their value so that's where I'm asking you all for help.
I would contact the previous owners.
