This has been interesting, and I respect your opinions. I knew the lines were crossed long ago.

After conducting this I now have a slightly different approach to my thinking on new blends and old.
If I learn nothing else, I will be adding, Old Joe Krantz and Cumberland to my next order.
Thanks for the input. I might have to add a Va/Per category as well as a oriental. :puffpipe:

MM965 is a Scottish. So is The Aperitif, which I prefer because the Lat is more subdued.
Nightcap to me is quintessential English. Despite some condimental addition of perique, it's far and away a Lat bomb.
I don't care for straight VA, prefer a VA-Per. Dunhill DNR is my go-to.
