Did anyone else's tin look like they got a pirated copy of the tobacco? For one, the front sticker looked like the Xerox photocopy of the actual label that the dude from your high school would sometimes include with the burned DVDs you bought from him. Also, there wasn't even a back label, and it looked like there was maybe hot glue(?) in at least a couple of the corners. Was I alone in this?

See the other thread. Half the tins seem to be sealed with glue. Mine were not. The label is standard SG. Lots of tobacco labels are horseshit.

Hansom was a P&C exclusive. Did you buy yours from a guy in a van?! ?

I'm assuming from the absence of a Kretek label on the bottom that P&C did not go through Kretek.

I picked up a couple of tins and some were hot glued and some were not. The two that weren't popped off really easily (P&C's signature shipping method didn't help either) I jarred those. The glued tins seem pretty well sealed though.

I had one tin in the box that had the top off. Thankfully the cardboard insert was secure. It had the glue spots on it but wasn't enough to hold the top on with P&C's packaging techniques, which consist of merely laying the bubble wrap on top of the tins, Which didn't prevent the tins from sliding around in the box during passage. The others seemed ok but probably should inspect closer

nonetheless, it was definitely the most interestingly stylized tin I've seen from SG. Weird little side rivetted tin? Cardboard insert? Also, not that I leave anything around without jarring it up, but every once and a while I like a blend enough to just slowly roll through a tin within a couple of weeks, and the way these tins are sealed there wasn't much opportunity for doing that. Still a delicious offering with a very approachable version of a Lakeland topping.

I'm not sure...there was no such thing as DVD's when I was in high school...there might have been a few rich kids with VCR's though.
