I have recently talked to a few friends about Dunhill and they are telling me Nightcap is hard to find for some people. My question: is Nightcap really that hard to find where you all are from? I just visited the tobacconist like five minutes down the street from me just today, and they have a pretty study supply of Nightcap and Early Morning all the time it seems. I would also like to know if anyone thinks I should stock up and cellar any of it?

Depending on where people are, a local shop may or may not carry those blends. That's when we search e-tailers for the tobacco of our choice. However, there has been a shortage of specific blends due to hoarding and/or production issues.
Cellaring tobacco is completely up to you, but I will say that Dunhill tobacco's were pretty much taken out of the US market for awhile, then recently started showing back up again.

Thanks for the reply bootleg.
I too have noticed that Dunhill was scarce for a second, but for the last couple of months it has caught my eye at this one store that I frequent a little to often. It still makes me wonder if the drought might happen again, and if so, for how long.

No probs....I think they contemplated ending their U.S. sales for most blends, thinking it best to focus on the European market. But I think there was a good sized group who went and told Dunhill that this was a mistake. I can't remember details, but I remember reading something on this in a couple of other forums.

I'm in California and my local B&M has a ton of tins, I think they're about $13 each? I myself stocked 2 tins on my last online purchase. If you have a hard time finding it, I have no problem with having someone paypal me the cost of the tin + shipping or finding out if my local B&M does online sales.

Yeah, thats about roughly the same asking price onizuka, at least here in Ohio. Like I said they have a big selection here as well. It's a heck of a smoke and hopefully it sticks around here in the states.

Perhaps, they could be referring to the Murray's issue...? The more recent

Orlik issue has been widely received by many and purchased in a short period

of time. Local B&Ms may have some while the e-retailers are out.

Well, the B&M's up in Cleveland don't have any, so I'm either going to the wrong one or someone else is getting to them before I do.

What with the amount we were able to get in our last shipment and at the rate that it's selling, I'm beginning to suspect that Nightcap, like the other Dunhill blends, will eventually be as easy to come by as the rest of what Orlik has to offer. However, that's not to see there's never a dry spell of Golden Slice. I do think that supply is beginning to temper demand, though.

Thanks for all the feedback. It's nice to see people respond so quickly.
Ted - Just hearing you say that makes me feel blessed that I have such a nice B&M so close to my house, and to be on their call list when the stuff I want comes in makes it even more special. :puffy:
Abecox - Is that Cleveland Ohio you speak of?
Tedswearingen - I guess time will tell.
