Question About Breath Smoking

When the pipe is in your mouth, breathing in and out the nose, is the breathing completely as if the pipe wasn't there or do you sort of close off the throat like you were nose breathing and pulling on a straw at the same time?

I take a puff, sometimes I let the smoke out my nose, sometimes I let it out my mouth. I don't consciously think about breath smoking, sometimes I do, plenty I don't. Use what works for you and don't worry about breath smoking. There are no right ways to smoke, only what works for you.

it's hard to explain. i pack my pipe normally, but make sure there's no resistance in drawing the smoke. when i breath through the nose, pipe does the rest. i can control the flow of the smoke, but there really isn't any need. if draw is tight, i run pipe cleaner to open up the bottom of the chamber.

just puff the pipe in your mouth as you clench, closing off your throat as you breath through your nose

I mean what he's doing is basically what I do but the way he explained it even confused me.

I've looked at his videos about the subject but missed if he talked about my particular question.

like hold water in your mouth and breathe through your nose... that's it.

the key is simply being able to do it without inhaling out of your mouth.
