Quality, Quintessential Bulk Blends on a Budget

I know that pipe smoking can be a lot more affordable than other hobbies, but nevertheless the bill can run up quickly when buying tins of different premium tobaccos. I was curious if you all had opinions on "representative" or higher-rated tobaccos for some of the major tobacco categories. Rules would be at least a 3-3.5 star rating on tobacco reviews and cost of under 4 dollars an ounce. Id like to think of these as the "table wine" blends that are great to smoke between the rotation of pricier tobaccos. Also for buying in quantities for aging out.
This was inspired by the sutliff sale at smoking pipes...

Great list! I’d add in Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake for a VaPer, Proper English and English Oriental Supreme for English, Arango Balkan Supreme for a great Balkan, and Lane RLP-6 to the Aro selection.

For aros I prefer LL7 to RLP. Lane Dark Red is really good - a cherry version of BCA. Sutliff Queen Anne's Revenge is probably my favorite bulk aro (besides Boswell's which don't really fit the "budget" requirement"

I'd add C&D Yorktown to the list of Virginia bulks. That's one I really enjoy. The rest of your list and the suggestions, all seem pretty solid.
I didn't know that Viprati was available as a bulk.

I found Balkan Supreme to be a really good bulk product. I think I bought a pound for about $35 a month or so ago and I find it to be a very good smoke.

I jarred 10 pounds of Sutliff 507C based a recommendation from Woodsroad. It currently has 1 1/2 years on it, but I opened the test jar and it is pretty damn good. Glad I pulled that trigger.

Tabak aus Kiel, Motzek, has some affordable blends that can be bought in smaller than bulk quantities for about that price. Think I'll enjoy some Herbst 84 (English) this morning in fact. The 100 grams I bought cost €12.50.

Cornell and Diehl's Virginia Gentleman is another good one, though I'm not sure what category it would go in.
This has the potential to end up being a VERY long list. If you turn your nose up to bulk blends, you're missing out!

PS blends in bulk are a great value. So, yes to bullseye flake. Find that C&D is also a good value in bulk. So, for blends containing some latakia, would recommend Red Odessa, Odessa, (if you're a burley fan), and Stratfordshire.

Stratfordshire by C&D is a fuller strength English with balance and robust flavor.

D&R bulks are pretty attractive for both price and flavor, especially (to my tastes):

N.B., with bulks that are also available in tins, consider the overhead cost and PITA factor involved in jarring all the tobacco. I usually factor-in an extra $0.40 /oz. to decide whether to go with the bulks.

For burley, I'd add Lane Ready Rubbed. Even though you specified that you are looking for bulk, I'd add Orlik Golden Sliced for a basic bright Virginia. It only comes in tins, but it's significantly cheaper than most tinned tobacco, and the price per ounce is comparable to a lot of bulks.

Love the recs! How could I forget Lane's ready rubbed... its fantastic. OGS qualifies, Ive seen it as low as 5 bucks/2oz before on sale. Updated list below for the ones that meet ratings and price criteria
