PS LNF v Va. Slices 507C

I've got both of these, and have been informed on a number of occasions that they are the same blend/diff. name.
IMO, the LNF seems to be a bit sharper, for want of a better word; whereas the 507C seems to be a bit softer on the palate.
Opinions please?!

I'm highly suspicious of this claim, have been since I first heard it. They both taste different to me as well, in a similar manner as to what you stated. Sounds like BS to me, but considering the fact that this planet is turning more and more into a Twilight Zone episode gone awry with each passing day, I am not the least bit surprised at the matter.

BUT, one thing they have in common is they age miraculously well. They really sing after 5 years.

Sutliff have stopped making the 507C.

Sutliff stopped making everything at the end of January. The property is up for sale. The claim that the two tobaccos are the same thing comes from the people who made it and distributed it. It is made by STG.

507c slices were made for Sutliff by STG in Germany, and the latter own Sutliff's IP rights, so very possible.

And to horrify everyone on this thread, I bought an ounce of each early on in my tobacco exploration, and when I heard multiple individuals online assert that they were the same blend, I up and stashed them both in the same jar 5 months ago. Too late to separate them now? I think I'll let them stew for at least a year, and if they haven't blown up and taken out my apartment building by then, see how they aged together?

I'm reliably informed that the cut of both is a factor in the difference in taste etc. That's way above my pay grade.

The president of the company informed my source that they are indeed the same...whoa...we're getting on to a sticky wicket there?!
They can inform me all they like, but they don't smoke the same, IMO.
