Anyone here know anything about or experience prostate issues
I'm not looking for medical advice but lately I feel a burning/heaviness in my lower right groin and butt area
I don't know if this is nerves, back pain from sitting or prostate
Goin' #1 fine - flow is good
It's worse when I have to #1 and even makes going #2 a bit difficult
Sometimes feels like someone kicked me or stabbed me in the rear end
I had a colonoscopy 1 1/2 years ago and all good - I'm actually younger than required
when I was 23 I had my prostate checked and doctor said it was 'just okay, we'll watch it(whatever that means)' ended up having a urinary tract infection too,
Any help would be appreciated

Any new medications? My Dr. put me on Flomax for prostate issues...mainly having to pee 2-3 times a night. The medication is great for not having to pee in the middle of the night, but I'm having side effects...back pain, and a couple of others I won't mention.

The side effects are worse than getting up 2-3 times to pee. I go back to the Dr. in a couple of weeks.

My suggestion is to go see your Dr.

I do take some heartburn medication
I also have to get up at night once to go
Maybe I'll go see a physician

Whenever I feel any symptoms that really concern me, I go straight to a Pipe Forum. That way I can catch a few Baccy reviews.

Urologist. Make the call. Could be nothing. Could be something. Don’t wait.

Urilogist will likely prescribe you an an antibiotic and want to see you thereafter in order to rule out infection.

If you still have pain after the antibiotic, he can rule out infection as the cause and proceed to tests/biopsy.

Don’t procrastinate on your health. Call your Dr. Hope you feel better.

I would lay off on the butt sex and go and see the old Quack. I had one of those colonoscopy things last year. My big fear was the Dr telling me that their equipment wasn't working so they were going to have to go with a Tape Worm with a Go Pro glued to its head! Seriously, wash your butt and go and see the Quack and I am sure all will be fine.

go to the Doctor ASAP. Do not play at being a Dr. on the forum, or on the internet for that matter. A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and went into a cutting edge treatment program at Mass General in Boston (one of America's great hospitals but I am sure that the treatment can be provided in other sophisticated hospitals around the country). So far the treatment has been successful and his PSA has dropped by 70%. This may be nothing, and I hope it is, but find out if is something or nothing. Prostate and colon cancers are two of the cancers for which their is great success in treating as long as they are caught early. Don't wait.

Experience counts, I found out shooting my 10 gauge at a high flying goose, pain in lower extremities was bad. PSA was 54, MD Anderson devised a schedule of massive doses of Radiation, it went in my lymph nodes, not the bone, so they couldn’t take the prostate out. Being an Old Cajun straight shooter, don’t FUCK around.

ask a doctor. Cause something is up and most likely something that they've are going to be better at making into not a big deal then any of us here. Oh and the all clear sign only covers right now. Though reminds me of that time I had a uti that didn't bother me until it progressed into epididymitis (infection of the spermatic cord).

Yep, that's exactly what I had at 23 - I may have one now - it feels familiar
