OK, you talked me into adding some to my order of Bald Headed Teacher, part of the FDA stock up.

Still need to try this stuff, it's just really hard for me to drop 25 bones on something I may not even like.
@Hawky454 ... no reply to the PM I sent you. Still want a sample? :puffy:

Go for it, Hawky454. People send samples all the time. They're just small amounts of tobacco in an envelope. Then you load them in your pipe and experience the tasty goodness, before you have to decide to drop $20-$25 on a brick of this stuff.

Maybe he just doesn't want one from me, in particular. Not sure why but it's all good!

I've sometimes gone several days without noticing the private message indicator. On this browser, it's only the changed number ("You have 0 private messages"). So, he may not have seen it, and it may not be in any way a rejection of your offer.

Death was nice enough to send me a generous sample of this. Smoking some now. Good stuff. Strong, actually pretty smooth and I get some nice cigar notes from it. A keeper and it would probably be fund to blend with.

$25 is not too bad. It is only 3.5 oz, but there is something magically everlasting about it. I have been working on a brick for almost 8 months now. It is very dry, so you get way more per oz of this stuff. And, the fine cut makes it so that you have to pack tighter, but something still makes it last and last. It is more like $25 for a pound of anything else. Great value, IMO.
Yep, Jitter's Turkish strains were absolutely fantastic. I smoked them without mixing them at all, very aromatic. I would enjoy smoking it straight more often. It makes me realize that blenders mixing it down with Virginias are just ripping us off. Like watered down liquor.
I would love to try some homemade semois.
My crop is off to a slow start. They are at about one foot. But, if I remember from last year, it is when we hit the dog days that they really start to take off.

Semois is really a good value as its so dry you get more volume than with other baccys. I recently had gotten, for the first time, the thick cut and enjoyed it very much. It is a lot more complex than one would think, being it's a burley. This brick is going to last a good long while.
