I'm going to buy either a Kaga or E-star and I'd like your opinions based on your experiences with either or both pipes.
The E-star does use a paper filter which I don't know is a plus or minus for it.

This is the only one I have experience with.

Fine pipe but the slot needed work like most factory pipes. Given that, I'm not sure I would justify paying the premium for the Kaga, and certainly not for the e-star.

I have two of Tsuge's Mizki dublins that are very similar to their Kaga line. Nice small pocket pipes, and very fine smokers. Both were equipped with removable stingers, which I suspect is in the Kaga, but removing them is easy. I'd go with the Kaga.
