Steve, I have looked at every pipe site I know and looked for any pipes starting with the letter A. None seem to fit your pipe. Maybe the initials are just someones name and not the maker of the pipe?

The closest maker I’ve found is a Danish pipe maker named Alberth Hansens. However, every picture of his stamp I’ve found has an (A H) in script. I have no idea of his middle name or if he changed his stamp to the block letter type in your pic of the pipe at any time. I’ll keep looking though!

That is part of the frustration. It is a beautiful pipe with terrific wood and perfect drilling. It will go on eBay on Saturday.
