Thank goodness someone has something. All I could come up with is The Bong Shop...Believe that's a Todd Bannard piece. The BST stamp stands for briar, sweat, and tears, what he calls the raw ingredients of pipe making. Here's a link to his site: Briar, Sweat and Tears | Handmade Pipes by Todd Bannard - http://bstpipes.com/
Damn, done with the first post. This place is amazing. It's bloody magic.
Happy to help! Love the pieces you post each week and appreciate your hard work! You got that right, MSO. I'm so used to this forum having the right maker whenever I ask for help that I was actually not surprised... just envious. As Butch asked Sundance, "Who are those guys?"
Much obliged, dr_sittles!
No kidding. If people don’t know it now wait until the future. I can only imagine the descriptions of some of these on eBay.Modern pipe makers seems to have a tendency to make identification a little difficult with their unique symbols and stylized floral script. Imagine if it's tough now, how difficult it will be to ID one of these in fifty years.
They probably won't even know what a pipe is in fifty years.Imagine if it's tough now, how difficult it will be to ID one of these in fifty years.
they'll be sold as antique artisan hammers. Not suitable for use. They probably won't even know what a pipe is in fifty years.
