An excellent documentary about a complicated dude. There are a number of scenes of Drivers smoking pipes in the movie. McQueen was a real race car driver that took 2nd at Sebring. Very enjoyable flick.

In the Columbo episode Blueprint for Murder when Columbo has a building foundation pilon dug up at city expense to look for a body, the camera pans to show a construction worker with a large straight billiard with a thick oval shank and stem. He must have been a real pipesmoker of obtained the pipe from one because if you freeze frame you can see the cake buildup along the back wall of bowl. Unfortunately I do not know enough about pipes to be able to identify the brand but it looks like a quality briar.

In the Miss Marple (Joan Hickson version) mystery Body in The Library, the frustrated country gentleman who feels hes being accused of the murder grabs his pipe and goes for a walk to his farm. Later in the episode he drive his Rolls to town to buy a tin of tobacco. Again a straight billiard pipe.
