Hi everyone im trying to get advice. On cleaning some of my pipes i got from a estate i noticed today one of them has a repaired stem near the bowl its about halfway down the stem. The problem is i dont know what this person has used to fill the stem and stick it back. Also i dont know if its safe to smoke. The job looks good apart from its shiny around the area hes repaired. Its a brigham 3 dot Rustic pipe.It looks like a type of resin. Will the pipe be ok or would it be wise to throw away? Its a shame because i wanted to try this type of pipe the filter inside is fine.I dont want to do a indepth clean up job if the pipes no good.Any help would be appreciated.Photos will be no good because ive tried to get close on my digi camera but the rustic pattern hides it.And my photos show it well hidden
