Pipe Stain

Bought a Mr. Brog briar pipe carving block. Any recommendation on a non-toxic wood stain for the finished pipe? Conversely, would you just leave it natural with a beeswax/carnuba wax finish?

Appreciate any help.

I think you need to see what it looks like first. If you go dark you cant go back.

Alcohol or water based dyes only, no oil based stain. Feibings leather dye or trans tint are what the vast majority of carvers and factories use.
