There's a baseball blend, Triple Play. Why no Touchdown or Twenty Yard Line? Football aka soccer, is surprisingly addictive after you stop wishing the goal were bigger and can accept 1-0 as a score. It puts me in a trance, but in a good way.

I suspect if I had been born into a soccer-crazy family or region, I'd be crazy about it. I do enjoy the World Cup quite a bit, and I love the way the US Women's press the Men's team to shame. I respect the game but do not truly love it the wayI love the games I grew up with. I love basketball, which is second to soccer in global popularity.

I like the world cup as well. It’s a lot like hockey (the best sport in the world) just a lot slower, less violent, and less intense. It’s like watching slow motion youth hockey on grass, but less physical.

Still fun to watch though, the occasional amazing play, pageantry and what not.
