He is inspired by both Danish and English styles. He uses Italian and Grecian briar along with German Ebonite. He resides in Virginia. At the top of the show Brian will have a tobacco review of Cornell & Diehl’s Virginia Flake.

Good description of the C&D blend and how you might kick it up a notch. I think you may have been thinking about blending too much after your last interview and heading down a dark path. ;) Jamie, on the other hand, is heading off in the right direction with his pipe making, and I wish him the best.

Thanks for the review on C&D's Virginia Flake. I'm going to have to grab some on my next SP order and compare it to Sutliff's 507C considering your statement. Really enjoyed the interview with Jamie. Always fun to hear how these Instagram pipemakers are getting along.

Also, thanks for letting me steal some time from you this past Thursday! I really appreiated getting to pick your brain and share a bowl with you. My kiddos also loved the monorail cards. They started asking everyone from the busses, boats, and monorails for them that night 😅

Really appreciated the perspective on C&D Virginia Flake, I will get a couple ounces to sample and play with the next time I make a tobacco purchase. I enjoyed hearing from Jamie, and was particularly interested in his coming from the “tobacco guy” angle initially in his journey through pipe smoking, much the same as myself. This show is going to have me getting an instagram account if I’m not careful!
