Thanks for the info. I ordered a few so others can get them too. This is very nice of you to do this for the forum members. I have never been able to get any penzance, balkan sobrine, or stonehaven. I am looking forward to trying them.

Damn this sucks, so i call Phil (the one who posted the thread) over at Pipe & Leaf to see if they had any more of either penzance or stonehaven by chance. He says he is going to put two bags of each on the site while i am on it, one at a time, so i can put them in my cart and checkout. So we do this and i put them in my cart and i am over the moon stoked, i finally get my hands on some STONEHAVEN! Then from the highest of highs, i'm knocked off of my freakin' cloud back down to earth when i go to checkout and it says that, "sorry but penzance and stonehaven are no longer in stock, we apologize for any inconvenience". What a letdown and slap in the face. I figured they would hold them in my cart for at least a couple minutes while i entered my information and credit card. I don't think it is in the stars for me to get a bag of Stonehaven and Penzance, lol. What a downer.
Sorry for the rant, but i was SOOOO close! Anyways, thanks a ton for the help Phil if you read this, i really appreciate the wonderful customer service over the phone, you tried and did what you could brother. Maybe next time....

Guys, don't overlook the Balkan Sobranie here.
The site is dead-on accurate when it says that the blend has gone through lots of changes over the years and may or may not remind you of the original. BUT, it is a fantastic blend regardless. It's been too long since I had the original, so I can't compare. But this blend is worth seeking out.

I have ordered from Philip at Pipe & Leaf a few times and find him and the company to be fantastic. For my fellow Canadians, you can select a cheaper shipping option, depending on the weight of what you order and all in all I find their shipping to be competitive. Great service too. I have had an issue with a little bug - it seems when I choose the cheaper shipping option it defaults to the higher shipping option when the order goes through. They are working on this, but a quick e-mail to Phil and everything was adjusted. I would not hesitate to order from Pipe & Leaf again (and again and again).

That is very odd.
I just went in and tried it with one tin and you are right, this time it didn't seem to give me an option for cheaper shipping like it did earlier in the day. Very strange.

Not sure about the other sites but at 4noggins shipping 3 tins to Canada is US$15.95 for First Class Air or US$35.25 for International Priority Mail.

True, but the only Balkan Sobranie you have on your site is $60 a tin.

Canadian customers, if you place an order and get stuck with the more expensive shipping option, email me and I will refund the difference. I'm not sure what is causing the problem but until I fix it this is the best option. I don't want Canadian customers to miss out on these hard to get tobaccos.
