Need more and close up pics of all sections. Is it extremely light weight? It doesn't LOOK like briar from this picture. Seems to be a souvenir pipe and may not be intended to be smoked. Where did it come from? How old is it? Was it smoked before you got it? Try to find a maker's name, letters, numbers or anything. Tell us your history of it to the best of you knowledge. I like the design and think it is a handsome pipe. The more pics and information you can give, the better. :)

It doesn't belong to me. I just grabbed the picture and saved it when I came across it somewhere online.
Souvenir pipe seems like a good possibility-- it reminds me a little bit of the Ukrainian pipes that I see on eBay.

All wood pipes were cheaper alternatives to briar 100 years or so ago. I'd say it's one of those. But the carving is nice enough to make me unsure.
