I think you might be right. Maybe sugar crystals build up quicker when you get cancelled.
That spot was...perhaps not as photogenic as one would hope 
Not mold, though--just a curl of leaves with a touch of bloom / possibly crystallization from the casing, exacerbated by my poor photography. In my head, I was thinking it echoed the shape of the soundhole...which is why I no longer work as an art director It smoked just fine, and was probably the best bowl of the batch!
