I'm working to put together a collection of Wax Drip pipes. Today at the show I ran into Russ Cook, who is one of the four in the world I'm aware of that do these very well. For sale was one he made and sold last year, but which remained unsmoked (until now). No way I could pass this one up.

Nice get! There were a lot of pipes there today, and none of them came home with me. There were two that were hard to pass up, but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Congrats on the new pipe.

Wonderful buy. If you like those check out Larrysson Pipes. He's another great artist with that style.

papipeguy - I'm the guy with the Larrysson pipe too:

Nice ! I was going to say you got lucky with that find. Russ has told me he only makes them by commission for the most part. Sounds like the universe aligned just right for you!

Very nice! I have an apple Russ made and the craftsmanship is top notch - hope you enjoy yours as much!

Boy, that texture is a treat for the sense of touch, even before you get it lit, and all during the smoke. Doubles your pleasure.
