Great insight guys! What is the “tissue to cover the Plip bite?”
Whenever your pipe starts to gurgle, it’s due to trapped moisture. Place tissue over the bite and give it a couple hard quick draws. Doing so will pull that moisture from the pipe and into the tissue rather your mouth.
Remember the pipe is the apparatus and you are the regulator. How you smoke controls the quality of your experience.
A pipe cleaner can also be used as long a your pipe passes one with ease. Usually not the case with a full bent factory pipe such as Peterson.
The tissue trick works every time. Sometimes you’ll get in a bit of a gurgle spell, if you haven’t noticed already, and you’ll need to clear it out a few times. Just remember you have control over the situation.

Excellent advice! I’ve tried the pipe cleaner, but had no idea you could do that with the tissue! I have had some gurgling with a basket bent pipe I’ve got, especially with aromatics. Haven’t smoked this Peterson yet, but glad to know it’s not the end of the world if it does the same! Thank you sir!
